From September 22nd to 24th, 2023, the first "Zhijindong Cave Cup" Chinese Chess  Tournament was grandly held at the new Visitor Service Center of Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark. After three days of exciting chess games and intense competition, the second round of the Mid-Autumn and National Day Double Festival colorful ball of the first "Zhijindong Cave Cup" Chinese Chess Tournament of Guizhou Province in Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark also came to an end!

A total of over 180 athletes signed up for this open chess tournament. Among them, more than 60 athletes received cash prizes and certificates of honor: 46 athletes in the open group received certificates of honor and cash prizes, and the top 12 athletes in the Zhijin local group received certificates of honor and cash prizes. In addition, the organizing committee also set up 18 lucky prizes.

 The first "Zhijindong Cave Cup" Chinese Chess Tournament marks a new breakthrough in the integration of sports and tourism in Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark and is also an important manifestation of Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark's contribution to the integration of sports and tourism in Zhijin County. This event was presented so splendidly. We are grateful to all the participating athletes for their support, understanding and cooperation.
