So, why build an aerospace museum in Zhijindong Cave World Geopark?
As early as 2021, the curling stones in the underground Tiangong of Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark were launched into space from the Taiyuan Launch Center in Shanxi Province by China's "Long March 6" carrier rocket.

The underground Heavenly Palace of Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark is of great aesthetic value and cultural and historical significance. The unique karst wonder is very much in line with the imagination of the Blue Planet Organizing Committee for the scenes of Chinese science fiction films.

Zhijindong Cave, which has undergone 20 million years of vicissitudes, is one of the outstanding representative places reflecting the evolution process of cave karst and cave chemical sediments. The curly stones are the representative of the karst wonders of Zhijindong Cave. They are distributed within the Crystal Palace, covering an area of 3,000 square meters.

The center of the coiled stone is a hollow pipe, completely transparent, snow-white and pure, exquisite and translucent. It is still growing and has great ornamental and scientific research value. It is a rare coiled stone wonder both at home and abroad.
Bringing curling stones into space is of great significance for the popularization of geological culture and the dissemination of science in China.
The Space Interaction Hall features a layout that kicks off with the curling stone of Zhijindong Cave being launched into space and concludes with a lunar camp. It showcases various modes including 1:1 models, space stations, the moon, space, and real scenes of Mars, as well as astronaut training equipment.

Meanwhile, the Aerospace Interactive Hall combines popular science education, physical display, and aerospace lecture explanations to deeply introduce various aspects of China's aerospace industry, illustrate the relationship between the universe and the Earth, and showcase the value of karst caves.
Since its trial operation, many tourists have embarked on an immersive journey to fulfill their aerospace dreams in the Aerospace Science Popularization Interactive Hall.
