On November 19th, the Zhijindong Cave Administration Bureau held a meeting in the second conference room of the bureau to arrange and deploy forest fire prevention for this winter and next spring in Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark, and at the same time carried out forest fire prevention learning and training work. Li Yi, director of the Zhijindong Cave Administration Bureau, presided over the meeting. Huang Kaijun, deputy director of the Zhijindong Cave Administration Bureau, and Liu Zhirong, chief engineer, attended the meeting. All the staff and workers of the Zhijindong Cave Administration Bureau, the main and deputy responsible persons of the Zhijindong Cave Tourism Company, the Zhijin Golden Valley Company and the Zhijin Cave Police Station, as well as the forest fire prevention officers and other relevant department comrades attended the meeting.

We must resolutely hold the bottom line of forest fire prevention, clarify fire prevention responsibilities, implement prevention and control measures, investigate and eliminate potential hazards, and prevent forest fire accidents from happening. It is necessary to strengthen daily inspection and supervision, strictly enforce duty shifts, smooth information channels, form a coordinated response mechanism, and pool the strength for fire prevention and control work. It is necessary to enhance publicity and education for tourists and the public, implement source control well, and strengthen forest fire prevention publicity for passers-by during key periods and at important mountain peaks and intersections, so as to manage fires, mountains and people well. It is necessary to enhance learning and training as well as emergency drills, fully prepare fire prevention and extinguishing materials, and comprehensively improve the "Four" capabilities of all staff to create a harmonious tourism environment in the geopark.
