On April 22nd, Zhijindong Cave Gloabl Geopark held the 54th World Earth Day "Friendly Sister Parks Mutual Exhibition and Interaction" event and the launch ceremony of the 4th Asia-Pacific Geopark Week promotional activities at the Museum Square. This event was jointly initiated by 29 geological parks including Zhijindong Cave in Guizhou, Danxia Mountain in Guangdong, and Yandang Mountain in Zhejiang, as well as the Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

The theme of this event is "Cherish the Earth and Live in Harmony with Nature". At the Zhijindong Cave sub-venue, the special exhibition "Photography Works of the Scenery of China's Global Geoparks" was highly favored. The exquisite pictures of the geoparks' scenery attracted many tourists to stop and watch.

   On the 23rd, Zhijindong Cave held a science popularization activity in schools. Geoscience teachers introduced to the children the formation of the geological relics of Zhijindong Cave and knowledge about protecting the Earth and cherishing our home, and also engaged in a quiz interaction with small knowledge points.

 On that day, more than 200 teachers and students from the school and local community residents came to Zhijindong Cave to carry out science popularization and practical activities.

Seeing the incredibly stunning geological wonders of their hometown, the students all expressed their determination to cherish the Earth home with practical actions, making Zhijindong Cave more and more beautiful and renowned, and better promoting the development of their hometown.
