On April 22, 2022, the "Friendly Sister Parks Exhibition and Interaction" promotional event for the 3rd Asia-Pacific Global  Geoparks Week and the 53rd World Earth Day was officially launched. Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark served as a sub-venue and carried out a variety of activities such as science popularization in schools, science popularization practices, and online live broadcasts to popularize geological science knowledge among the general public. Showcase the achievements of the protection and development of geological parks, enhance the public's awareness of protecting geological relics, guide society to establish the ecological civilization concept of "respecting nature, conforming to nature and protecting nature", and mobilize the whole society to actively practice green and low-carbon production and lifestyle.

At 9 a.m., senior engineer Liu Zhirong entered Zhijin Guanzhai Middle School and delivered a vivid geological science popularization lecture to the students with simple, understandable and humorous language. He explained the types of geological parks, the causes of karst, the formation of stalactites, biological fossils and other geological knowledge to the students. The lecture was highly interactive and received a warm response. It has aroused the students' strong interest in learning geological knowledge and their sense of responsibility for protecting geological relics.

Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles. Under the guidance of the tour guide, the students visited the Zhijindong Cave Museum for study and to watch 4D films, allowing them to see and experience the rich and colorful, magical and magnificent nature with their own eyes and in person. The students who participated in the event said, "Today's World Earth Day activity has led us to explore the mysteries of this underground cave world formed over hundreds of millions of years. It has enabled me to have a better understanding of the formation reasons of Zhijindong Cave, the types of geological relics, the kinds of stalactites and other knowledge, and also made me more aware of the preciousness of the resources of Zhijindong Cave."
