At the beginning of the event, a video about the formation, evolution, structure and landscape composition of the Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark was played on the screen, revealing the mystery of the Earth's mysteries to the teachers and students. Subsequently, Professor Cheng Jie delivered a wonderful lecture titled "Through the 24-Hour Time Tunnel of Earth's History" to some teachers and students.

In the lecture, Professor Cheng, with a unique perspective, condensed the 4.6-billion-year geological evolution history of the Earth into a 24-hour time scale and presented it clearly and vividly to the teachers and students in just two hours. From 00:00 when the Earth was born, to the successive emergence of the ocean and life, and then through multiple ice ages, the convergence of continents, the great explosion of life, the prosperity and extinction of dinosaurs, until the appearance of human beings, Professor Cheng vividly presented along the timeline with pictures and text, covering topics such as continental movement, the evolution of animals and plants, and climate change, allowing teachers and students to truly appreciate the fun and wonder of the Earth's evolution. The professor's passionate and humorous explanation enabled the students to deeply understand that the emergence of human beings is the result of the combined effect of a long geological process and the environment, thus triggering in-depth thinking among them about environmental protection.

After the lecture, the students asked questions enthusiastically, and the park distributed cultural and creative products of the Global Geopark to the students. This lecture enabled the students to feel that the Earth is a vibrant and constantly changing planet. It is our home on which we depend for survival and deserves to be cherished all the more.
