The Global Geopark, through a bottom-up management approach, actively conducts training on disaster awareness and natural recovery knowledge to enhance the ability of local communities to face extreme situations and various disasters.

All the Global geoparks preserve the records of past climate change and are educators of current climate change. Through educational activities, raise people's awareness of climate change issues and provide them with relevant knowledge on mitigating and adapting to climate change.

Goal 17: Strengthen implementation measures and revitalize the global partnership for Sustainable Development
