On June 10, Zhijindong Cave UGGp officially launched the themed campaign "Tell the World Your Pride — 2026 Gaokao Graduation Season". Combining free admission benefits, a bespoke coming-of-age ceremony and online interactive activities, this tribute honors the twelve years of diligent study of students across Guizhou.
Since its launch, the event has drawn numerous graduate groups to visit and take photos. This summer, the world-famous geological wonders of Zhijindong Cave are creating one-of-a-kind youthful memories for young graduates.
The most appealing highlight for students and parents is the generous free admission policy.
From June 10 to August 31 (covering the entire summer vacation), all current national Gaokao graduates can enjoy free entry to Zhijindong Cave upon presenting their Gaokao admission ticket. As a special treat for local students, Guizhou graduates may bring one immediate family member to visit for free as well.Note: shuttle bus tickets and safety service packages are sold separately.
Nestled in a constant cool environment of 16°C, this subterranean paradise helps graduates unwind from the stress of the college entrance examination. They can fully immerse themselves in the magnificent karst landscapes shaped over hundreds of millions of years and marvel at the grand beauty of nature’s craftsmanship.
The campaign aims to let the younger generation of Guizhou experience the charm of this world-class geological treasure, foster their love for hometown and cultural confidence, and encourage local youngsters to promote Guizhou’s cultural and tourism brands to the outside world.
Beyond the ticket benefits, Zhijindong Cave has carefully prepared a meaningful Exclusive World Pride Coming-of-Age Ceremony full of ritual significance.
A Stone & Time Corridor themed on the journey from age 0 to 18 is set up on the outdoor square, with every scene recording precious moments of growth. Walking slowly through the corridor, graduates relive their years of growing up. They can also write down their heartfelt wishes on the wish wall to freeze the beautiful moments of youth.
Another heartwarming experience is the Future Postcard Service. Graduates write letters to their future selves four years from now and drop them into the postbox. Witnessed by the timeless landscapes of Zhijindong, these sincere wishes will accompany them as they embark on new journeys in life.
As a global geological treasure, Zhijindong Cave also serves as an important platform to enhance young people’s sense of belonging to their hometown and raise awareness of geological heritage protection.
