Guizhou Plateau is located at the eastern part of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and is situated on the second step of terrain of China. It is a typical subtropical karstificated plateau and named as Guizhou Plateau due to its location at Guizhou Province. It is located at the watershed area between the Yangtze River and the Pearl River with an area of 176,360 km2 and an elevation of 1000-1500m.
Zhijindong Cave Geopark is located at the western part of Guizhou Plateau.
