At 7:30 on August 19th, the first "2023 Guizhou Zhijin Cave Elite Crossing Challenge" in Zhijin Cave kicked off with great enthusiasm! On August 20th, the "2023 Guizhou Zhijin Cave Elite Crossing Challenge" came to a perfect close as the last runner ran past the finish arch of the Geology (Main Monument) Square.

This year's event features three competitive elements: the 5KM Elite Challenge, the 35KM Mountain Crossing Race, and the 12KM Mountain Experience Race. The race course runs through the Zhijin Cave World Geopark. The participants pass by multiple scenic spots such as the Underground Heavenly Palace, the Great Deafness Tiankeng, Tianfeng, Tiansheng Bridge, and the Zhijin Cave Grand Canyon. The design of "touring within the race and competing within the tour" aims to promote the deep integration of sports and tourism.

This competition lasted for two days. Over 600 contestants gathered in Zhijin, Guizhou Province, running on the tracks of the Cave Kingdom and the inner world, presenting everyone with a wonderful, passionate and joyful journey through the inner world. The first, second and third prizes of this competition will be determined respectively based on the results. In the future, the park will continue to hold such events, further improve the details, expand the scale and influence, and promote the integrated development of the sports and tourism industries.
