On May 23, 2024, a group of three people from Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark visited the Geological Heritage Research Center of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) for a discussion and exchange. The relevant person in charge of the Geological Heritage Research Center of China University of Geosciences (Beijing), experts from the Global Geoparks Network and other comrades attended the symposium.

During the symposium, both sides had an in-depth exchange on the management experience of UNESCO Global Geoparks, and conducted in-depth discussions on the expansion of Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark and other work. They also expressed that in the future work, both sides will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the investigation of geological relics, scientific research and popular science, and re-evaluation, and jointly improve the management level of Chinese Global geoparks.
