On August 14th, at the first media promotion event of "Great Places for Summer Retreat and Relaxation", 60 meteorological tourism projects of "Great Places for Summer Retreat and Relaxation" were grandly announced. According to regional characteristics and climate features, seven major summer retreat categories, namely mountainous areas, forests, rural areas, lakes, coastal areas, stargazing, and cultural areas, were carefully selected. Among them, Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark in Bijie stood out with its unique geographical environment and rich geological wonders, and was honored with the title of "Mountain Summer Resort Tourism".
Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark is one of the representative tourist attractions in Bijie. The internal temperature is maintained at 16℃, providing tourists with a rare cool world in the scorching summer. This truly "underground palace" is renowned for its spectacular karst landforms such as stalagmites, stone curtains and stone flowers. The "Three Treasures" and "Nine Wonders" inside the cave stand proudly here like leading ladies, rich in geological science and historical and cultural information. It is an ideal place to explore the mysteries of nature and experience geological changes, and also allows tourists to feast their eyes and fully enjoy the beauty of the cave.
The Global Geopark, which holds multiple titles such as "King of Chinese Caves", strives to provide visitors with the best experience. It constantly optimizes its operation mode and has planned and created the Night Tour of Zhijindong Cave and the "Insight into the Sky" project through methods such as "time-sharing Tours" and "off-peak Tours". On the one hand, new scenic spots within the cave have been opened up and incorporated into the night tour route. Within the scenic area, exquisite large-scale cultural lanterns have been designed and created by combining traditional Chinese cultural elements with local ethnic cultures, greatly enhancing the novelty and diversified experience of the visit. On the other hand, the "Insight into the Sky · Zhijindong Cave Space Experience Hall" is brimming with technology and has received overwhelming praise. By adopting immersive, interactive and panoramic simulation forms, the curling stones of Zhijindong Cave are linked with aerospace culture, continuously expanding the cultural charm and product types of Zhijindong Cave, and enhancing tourists' sense of participation and experience.
