On April 11th, a research and study team of over a hundred teachers and students from the Geography Science major of the School of Tourism and History of Liupanshui Normal University came to Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark to carry out geological science popularization research and study practice activities.

That morning, the study tour group was divided into three teams to visit and study at the Zhijindong Cave Museum and the Zhijindong Cave.

The Zhijindong Cave Museum is the first geological museum in Guizhou Province featuring karst landforms as its main characteristic, and it is also the only large-scale natural science museum in Guizhou. The museum comprehensively interprets and showcases the formation process and karst value of the Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark, presenting knowledge about the Earth and geology, the formation process of stalactites, the features of Zhijin, ethnic customs, etc, fully highlighting the local ethnic cultural characteristics and the unique charm of karst geological landforms.

When seeing such a fantastical and mysterious landform inside the Zhijindong Cave, the members of the study tour team all expressed that this trip to the Zhijindong Cave had enabled them to have a further understanding of the formation of the cave's landform and the types of stalactites, which was of great help to their study tour on geology.
