To effectively enhance the protection of forest resources and forest fire prevention in the Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark, on March 19, 2025, Li Yi, the director of the Zhijindong Cave Administration Bureau, led a forest inspection team, with Liu Zhirong, the chief engineer of the Zhijindong Cave Administration Bureau, participating.

During the forest patrol, Li Yi inspected on the spot the construction of forest fire prevention isolation belts in the scenic area, the arrangement of forest fire prevention work, the daily patrol and duty of personnel at checkpoints, and the implementation of other work. Meanwhile, promote knowledge related to forest fire prevention to the surrounding residents.

Li Yi emphasized that with the current rise in temperature, the weather is dry and windy, and the fire prevention level has increased. It is necessary to earnestly carry out forest fire prevention work. First, we need to enhance patrol efforts, conduct regular or irregular inspections of forest fire prevention work, manage outdoor fires well, guard mountain peaks and plots, and ensure that forest fire prevention work is implemented effectively. Second, we must continue to do a good job in the later maintenance and management of fire isolation belts to ensure that they play a substantive role. Third, strengthen fire prevention publicity to enhance the public's awareness of fire safety.
