On July 1, 2025, the key activities of the two evaluators' on-site inspection included: attending the progress presentation, visiting the geopark museum, the geosite with international significance and additional facilities (Geopark Major Monument and Geopark Square). They check the geopark progress in the past two years, inspect the geopark administration, updated geopark museum, new facilities, improved introduction boards and interpretation panels, and visit Geopark Science Education Classroom.

By visiting Zhijindong Cave, they also understood the building and development of the geopark in recent years in terms of cave research, cave conservation, geological disaster prevention, protection of geoheritage resources and ecological environment. In particular, routine monitoring of the temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide in the cave has been carried out to provide a basis for scientific protection; the cold light source lighting transformation project has been implemented in the cave to reduce the damage of light heat to the cave.
