At 9:00 a.m. on December 7, the 3rd Guizhou Zhijindong Cave Elite Crossing Challenge officially kicked off with a starting gun at Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark, hailed as "the No.1 Cave Under Heaven". Cross-country elites and outdoor enthusiasts from across the country gathered here, staging an extraordinary contest of speed, endurance and will amidst the uncanny craftsmanship of the karst landscape.

The racecourse was deeply integrated with the unique geological wonders of Zhijindong Cave, combining technicality, ornamental value and challenge in one. Runners sprinted through the mysterious and fantastic "underground palace", where stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains and stone flowers displayed countless unique shapes, making them feel as if they had wandered into a magical world that had slumbered for hundreds of millions of years. The winding trails and the alternately narrow and spacious space inside the cave posed a unique test to the runners' adaptability and running skills, truly realizing the concept of "racing amid scenery and viewing scenery while racing".

The event attracted many top domestic cross-country runners. Their agile figures weaved through the breathtaking and chiaroscuro cave scenery, becoming the most striking sight of Zhijindong Cave on that day. After fierce competition, the runners crossed the finish line one after another, forging their own glory with sweat and perseverance.

Having been successfully held for three editions, the Guizhou Zhijindong Cave Elite Crossing Challenge is not only committed to building a high-level competitive platform, but also aims to promote the in-depth integration of "sports + tourism + ecology". It guides runners and audiences to explore the magical pulse of the earth from a unique perspective, experience the preciousness of natural heritage, and convey the sports philosophy of healthy outdoor activities and green environmental protection.
