On December 12, Comrade Li Dongjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Jingpohu Scenic Area and Nature Reserve, led a delegation to conduct an exchange and inspection tour at Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark. The delegation included Li Xijun, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee; Ding Jianguo, Director of Jingpohu Tourist Service Center; and Yu Hao, Director of Jingpohu Gate Area Service Center.

The delegation first visited the Museum of Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark, where they gained a systematic understanding of its geological evolution process, karst landform characteristics and scientific value. Subsequently, they conducted an on-site inspection of Zhijindong Cave, and gained an in-depth knowledge of its large-scale cave system, diverse karst sediment forms, scientific protection and management measures as well as operation mode.

After the inspection, the two sides held discussions and exchanges focusing on resource protection, geopark management, re-assessment experience and other aspects, and successfully signed an agreement on establishing sister geopark relationship. In the future, we will carry out cooperation in various fields such as resource protection, management experience exchange, personnel training and brand co-construction.

By establishing the sister geopark relationship, we will jointly explore the high-quality development path of global geoparks, promote the sharing and complementarity of high-quality resources, and inject new vitality into improving management level and promoting the coordinated development of ecological civilization construction and cultural tourism industry.
