On February 3rd, 2026 the 2nd "Village Gala" series of events were grandly held in Huawu Village. The venue was bustling with crowds and filled with cheers, exuding a strong and festive holiday atmosphere.

 The event was divided into two sessions. In the morning, a dynamic tug-of-war competition kicked off the enthusiasm of the whole audience. Following this, a series of fun competitions were staged one after another, including arm-wrestling, twisting the shoulder pole, eating yellow rice cake, shelling corn, and slow motorcycle riding. Participants enthusiastically took part and showed their skills, with the winners of each event decided amidst laughter and joy.

 In the afternoon, the cultural performance opened with lively dances. Two-person speeches and skits vividly and cordially narrated the development changes and happy stories of Huawu Village in the new era. Subsequently, wonderful programs such as male and female solos, ethnic costume shows, and ethnic dances were presented one after another, showcasing the splendor of ethnic culture and the vibrant new look of Huawu Village from different aspects.

 After the cultural performance, a warm banquet featuring the characteristic long-table feast of the Miao ethnic group was held, where hosts and guests enjoyed themselves to the fullest. As night fell, a lively bonfire party began, with villagers and tourists joining hands to sing and dance in celebration of the festival.

 This event not only enriched the spiritual and cultural life of the villagers and demonstrated the united, progressive, harmonious and beautiful rural atmosphere of Huawu Village, but also injected new vitality into promoting the integration of local culture and tourism and rural revitalization.
