March 3 marks the 13th World Wildlife Day. The global theme for World Wildlife Day this year is"Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Guardians of Health, Heritage and Livelihoods", while the theme in China is "Protecting Wild Plants for a Healthy Future".

On that day, the Administration of Zhijindong Cave, together with the municipal and county forestry bureaus, jointly organized a World Wildlife Day publicity campaign at Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark. Through hanging promotional banners, setting up display boards, distributing informational materials, and providing on-site explanations, the campaign promoted the importance of wildlife conservation to visitors, popularized wildlife protection knowledge and relevant laws and regulations, and called on the whole society to work together to protect wild animals and plants. More than 200 copies of wildlife protection materials were distributed during the event, further raising public awareness of World Wildlife Day among tourists.
