June 5, 2026,the 55th World Environment Day,Zhijin Siyuan Experimental School organized a special inspirational hiking activity for all Grade 9 teachers and students of the 2026 graduating class. Under the theme Witness Nature’s Power, Chase Dreams Lightly, the group hiked across the local landscape and explored Zhijindong Cave UNESCO Global Geopark. Amid the magnificent natural scenery, everyone recharged physically and mentally for the upcoming high school entrance examination.
Marvel at Wonders and Draw Strength from Nature
The teachers and students arrived at the square in front of Zhijindong Geological Museum at 11:30 a.m. After a short break, they signed on the themed banner and took a group photo to mark this memorable occasion. A series of fun group contests followed, with students participating enthusiastically and filling the scene with joy. At 1:50 p.m., each class entered Zhijindong in order under the guidance of head teachers and accompanying instructors. Inside the cave stand grotesque rock formations and varied stalactites. The students were amazed by nature’s superb craftsmanship. While admiring the beauty of their hometown, they also came to understand that every stunning achievement comes from long-term perseverance.
Award Certificates to Commemorate the Inspirational Journey
A simple certificate presentation ceremony was held at the exit square of Zhijindong at 3:30 p.m. before the return trip. Each student received a Field Study Completion Certificate. The certificates recognized their perseverance in finishing the whole hike, and also offered encouragement and best wishes for the upcoming exam. Holding the certificates, the students wore determined looks on their faces.
Fearless Youth, Promising Dreams
The group boarded buses and headed back at 4 p.m. The round trip of roughly 20 kilometres drew to a successful close. This was not merely a field trip to get close to nature and relax. It was also a spiritual training that forged willpower and strengthened team spirit. During the hike, the students learned to be resilient and cooperative. They relieved stress and adjusted their mindset, fully prepared to embrace new challenges.
